Everyone answers the first question. Almost nobody answers the second.

This site takes one thing from the day’s news and answers the second question, what the story is doing to the person reading it and what to do about that today. Who is right gets argued about everywhere else, at length, and this site stays out of it.

It’s written from the conviction that fear and anger have causes, and that the causes can be found and answered. One page every 24 hours, and each one is meant to still be worth reading a year after its headline is gone.
